Hybrid Worlds & Transhuman Stories

About CLON

CLON is a hybrid art and speculative fiction project by Estela Oliva to explore paralel realities, transhuman stories, synthetic beings and imagined ecologies.

Born during a residency at Somerset House Studios, the project has taken different shapes such as films, VR experiences, video games, installations, and performances. CLON unfolds as a constellation of interconnected stories that form a full body of work. Each piece reveals fragments of a universe where the boundaries between human, machine and nature dissolve. By exploring these constructed realities, the artist behind reflects on contemporary concerns and anxieties around articifial intelligence, identity, agency and responsibility, posing existential questions about what it means to be human and how we shape, exploit, and coexist within the technologies we develop and the worlds we create.
